Dr. Randall Scott Sauer, OD
Optometrist
Dr. Randall Scott Sauer, a Texas native, received a B.S. in Human Nutrition in 2007 from Oklahoma State University and his doctoral degree of optometry in 2013 from Northeastern State University-Oklahoma College of Optometry. While attending NSU-OCO, Dr. Sauer was active in the Oklahoma Optometry Student Association and the American Optometry Student Association, serving as the political action committee and federal relations committee liaison. In 2011, he was awarded the Outstanding Service Award by the American Optometric Student Association, and in 2012 he received a Leadership Award from NSU-OCO. Dr. Sauer was also given a 2013 Award of Clinical Excellence, which is voted on by the faculty.
After completing his doctorate, Dr. Sauer went on to complete an optometric residency in Ocular Disease and Refractive Surgery in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Prior to moving to Calgary, Dr. Sauer spent three years with a private practice and refractive surgery center in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
